It started the way the best ideas do — accidentally.
Summer 2024, Point Lobos, just south of Carmel-by-the-Sea. A few of us were sitting on the granite outcrops watching waves crash against Monterey cypress when a wedding procession appeared on the beach below.
It was beautiful. And it was chaos.
The caterer was texting the planner. The DJ was calling the photographer. The venue coordinator was emailing everyone. The bride was in a group chat with 14 vendors, none of whom were talking to each other.
Fifteen professionals, five apps each, zero shared visibility.
That evening, over wine and the fog rolling in, we sketched Eventerfly on a napkin at a bistro on Ocean Avenue. The question was simple: what if every vendor on a wedding shared one platform?
Two years later, we’re a small team across the United States, England, and Ukraine — engineers, designers, and people who’ve spent years in the wedding industry. We built what we wished existed.
Every vendor on a wedding is brilliant at what they do. But they operate in silos — separate tools, separate data, separate conversations. We’re building the connective tissue that ties them together.
We donate 1% of all bridal event proceeds to Every Mother Counts — a nonprofit founded by Christy Turlington Burns, working to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere. Because every love story that starts with a wedding deserves a world where every mother counts.
We’re hand-selecting our first 10 founding vendors. Join us.
